If you’ve never been to our practice in Toluca Lake before, we can help you! Let’s use the historic Capitol Records Building as a starting point.
- Use Yucca St and Argyle Ave to get onto the 101 heading northwest, then get off on the 12A exit onto Lankershim Blvd. Turn right onto Cahuenga Blvd. Finally, turn left onto Riverside Dr and watch for us coming up on your right. We’re at 10719 Riverside Dr, Toluca Lake.
- Alternatively, you could go left on Yucca St and north on Cahuenga Blvd to get onto the 101 a little later. You could also take the 12C exit instead, then turn right onto Vineland Ave, then right again onto Riverside Dr to get to us.

The area’s initial development included the construction of the Glen-Holly Hotel, Hollywood’s first hotel, in the 1890s, and the establishment of the Hollywood Hotel in 1902 by H. J. Notable landmarks from the era include El Cabrillo, a Spanish Colonial Revival building commissioned by Cecil B. DeMille in 1928, and Villa Las Colinas, a Mission Revival estate built by Charles E. Toberman in 1922. These developments, alongside strategic promotional efforts by Whitley, helped establish Hollywood as a glamorous and desirable place to live and work. The region quickly evolved from a modest community into a vibrant hub for social and civic activities, attracting celebrities and setting foundational roots for what would become the global capital of movie-making.
